Female ~ 2-3 years old ~ in foster
Here’s a little Bean to get your Monday started off on the right paw!
This girl spent her first Easter with a family this weekend, and we think it’s pretty safe to say that having her own humans and fur siblings has worked wonders for her. Bean is happy, healthy, and loves romping (and posing beautifully) outside – just as any Corg should!
We love you, Bean!
We hereby declare this Wednesday, Bean Day! This sweet girl has been attached to her foster Mom since Day 1, and now that we’re all at home she’s loved keeping Mom company throughout quarantine. These are just a few pictures from Bean’s “Quarantine Album,” and we’re thrilled to share the following update from her Mom:
She’s doing so well lately. Great with potty training. Sleeping in bed (almost) through the entire night (which is 5:30am because that’s when Bean has decided it’s time to rise and shine lol). She also has developed quite the love of snacks and the outdoors, but doesn’t mind a couch cuddle either. She still barks at foster dad’s every move so we are still working on that and hoping she can love him eventually. She’s really blossoming and I’m so happy to be a part of it.
We’re happy SECR and our amazing fosters are able to make this transformation happen for Bean, too. This is another example of exactly why we rescue.
Dog #8 – Operation Corgi Drop
Ms. Bean had a great vet visit. Turns out she is not a puppy, though, as listed on the inventory. Vet puts her age at 2-3 years. Operation Corgi Drop #8. This adorable tri girl has one floppy ear and another that hasn’t decided yet. Her foster mom reports that 80% of her time outside is spent asking to be picked up, but 20% is four paws on the ground! She went potty outside this morning too! Also, found a viewing spot in the bathroom 🤪 Still shy and seeks comfort in the corner, but starting to scamper around the house a bit more. Breakfast enjoyed via lap service. Foster is working from home today so is hoping that lap time will extend while she works on her laptop! Bean has a vet visit scheduled soon to check her overall health.
