Wilson

3 years old, in foster

March 10, 2023: Welcome, Wilson!

The SECR family is growing again! Say hello to Wilson.

Wilson joins us as an owner surrender. His previous owner is currently experiencing health issues that make it to difficult to devote the time and attention needed to care for a young dog. These kinds of decisions are so difficult to make, and we’re glad rescues like ours can step in to provide support at such a critical time of need. We’re so happy to have Wilson with us and look forward to giving him everything he needs to thrive.

We haven’t had Wilson with us for very long, but in the short time we’ve known him he’s shown us that he’s a playful and loving boy who loves to romp in the yard, light up a room with his smile, and soak in all the attention he can get from his humans and foster siblings. He spent a lot of time outside recently, so Wilson needs some time to get reacquainted with being an indoor dog again. He doesn’t do well with small animals – rabbits (and likely cats) are off limits – and will need some work on potty and other basic training. But, we’re confident that we’ll get him where he needs to be, and so far he seems pretty happy to have our help! Stay tuned for more updates.

**Wilson is new to rescue and not available for adoption at this time.
