The medical funding needs are never ending at SECR because the dogs coming into rescue are never ending. But we aren’t complaining. This is what rescue is all about. It is why we are here. And it is also a core part of our mission. We are not just about finding forever homes where each dog can thrive, we want to ensure that when each dog leaves us it is on the right path to living it’s happiest and healthiest life.
Unfortunately, the dogs coming into rescue are increasingly arriving with medical needs beyond routine check ups, preventatives, updated vaccinations, and spay/neutering. They need ongoing medications, critical medical procedures, surgeries, therapies, rehabilitation, dental care, and professional training.
So, SECR is holding it’s first ever online auction to help fund the needed veterinary and therapeutic care for the corgis (and corgi mixes) in our rescue.
We have 82 donated items (many of them featuring corgis) along with several events & activities that will be auctioned off during the week of August 8th – 15th.
