Friends, we have an emergency. Please help! On Sunday, August 11, our recent addition to the SECR family, Reba, had to be rushed to the emergency vet. She was lethargic, not eating, and has bleeding from an unknown source. There is also free fluid in her abdomen, most likely blood.
Right now Reba’s blood flow is stable but hospitalization is recommended with close monitoring of vital signs, blood count, and clotting labs. She may require exploratory surgery if no improvement seen or her condition worsens. The estimate for the hospitalization is up to $5000 and can reach upwards of $10,000 if she needs surgery.
Please help us. We want to save this sweet girl. She deserves to live, and we want to give her every chance we can to pull through. Please consider an urgent donation today: Donate to Reba’s Emergency Care
