Friends, we know that to see Lenny and hear his story and recovery journey is to love him and want him. But the truth is that he has special needs and requires a special family that is willing and able to fill each of them. ** All applicants must be 21 or older and live within the Carolinas or Georgia. Submitting an adoption application is the first step in the process to adopt ANY SECR rescue dog, but submitting an application does not guarantee placement. SECR’s primary commitment is to the rescue dogs in our care, and it is our mission to find the right home for every dog, not the right dog for every home.
Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis to find the best fit for each available rescue dog, and our admin team will follow up with qualified applicants after applications are fully processed.
