Have a Heart

An ongoing fundraising campaign to give our corgis’ health a jump start. Help us help the dogs in SECR’s foster program by donating for routine and critical medical services, therapeutic and rehabilitative care, and / or supplies for daily nutrition and maintenance.

About Have a Heart

Every Corgi that comes to us at SECR has a lasting place in our hearts, and every day our fosters and volunteers give them everything we’ve got to make sure they get the medical care, socialization, training, and daily supplies they need to thrive and prepare for long and happy forevers. It’s a big commitment, and more often than not, an expensive one. 
 
In January 2025 alone, the Southeast Corgi Rescue spent nearly $9,000 on medical and therapeutic care and supplies for the dogs in foster care. We wouldn’t change what we do for the world, but to keep up we need your support.
 
Every penny our donors give the Southeast Rescue goes a long way to make a difference in the lives of corgis and corgi mixes in need, and we’re incredibly thankful for every generous donation. Everyone has a choice in where and how they choose to give – and it warms our hearts every time we make the list – because every donation means we can do more for the dogs that need our collective help.
 
We are proud to announce the creation of Have a Heart, a special rescue fund that will be used to help defray the cost of medical and therapeutic care and basic supplies for our rescued Corgis and Corgi mixes. From the routine to the critical, Have a Heart is entirely focused on making sure we always have the funds we need to make sure every dog in our care gets what they need to be happy and healthy and thrives.
