1 year old, adopted by fosters
August 30, 2023: Congratulations, Ozzie!
Put your paws together for Ozzie as he officially graduates from SECR foster to adoptee today!
This sweet boy joined the SECR family in May and needed all the things that any young corgi does – veterinary care and vaccines, a neuter, and a lot of socialization and training to really learn how to be a dog and use his energy in a good way. Ozzie had some awesome foster parents that worked to get him up to speed quickly, and even the resident cat offered his services to help along the way. It’s no surprise that Ozzie, his foster parents, and his foster brother bonded quickly and decided to make it last forever!
Ozzie has officially been adopted by his foster family, and we are so excited that we were able to bring them all together. Congratulations, everyone!

May 20, 2023: Welcome, Ozzie!
It’s National Rescue Dog Day, and we’re celebrating with a new addition to the family. Say hello to Ozzie!
We’ve just gotten Ozzie caught up on routine veterinary care and a neuter, and now we’re turning our attention to socialization and training. Like any typical young corgi, Ozzie is an energetic and adventurous boy who gets easily excited about all the new things in his life. Now that he’s settled in his new home, Ozzie’s fosters will be working with him to help him learn how to direct all of his energy in a positive way. Lucky for him, Ozzie also has a new feline foster brother who has graciously offered to teach him everything he knows.
Welcome to SECR, Ozzie. We’re so happy to have you!!
