APRIL – Finnegan has been adopted by his fosters! They have fostered so well for us in the past and we know they’ll be a great home for this boy.
UPDATE 2019 – Handsome Finnegan was adopted from SECR in November 2017. His family’s living circumstances changed and they contacted us about bringing this gorgeous boy back into rescue. We’re sad that his forever didn’t work out the way we wanted it to, but we’re glad to have a second chance to find him a perfect home. With any of our rescues, we’re committed to taking a dog back at any time during their lifetimes should we be needed.
2017 -Meet Finnegan. We were contacted by a kind soul about an outside dog who needed a new home. This sweet boy has been living outside in a 12×12 pen for his entire 5-6 years. He is not neutered and has received no vet care since he was a puppy. His owner said he wanted to rehome him because his son no longer took care of him, and he thought he should have a better life. Thankfully he agreed to surrender him to us. One of our volunteers went to evaluate him, and found that he is a very sweet dog, who just wants to be loved. He’s very thin, and his coat is poor. He is a very nice fellow, and did well with his bath, and with our volunteer’s female dogs. Curious about the outside cat, but not aggressive.
