3 year old ~ female ~ foster adopted (foster fail) May 2019
UPDATE: March 29 – Jora’s corneal abrasion/ulcer hasn’t healed properly so she went to an ophthalmologist and received a corneal polishing and contact lens. She will be on four different eye drops four times a day for the next two weeks and then will have a follow up to see if she is in the clear. We’ll keep you posted as we continue to seek the best possible treament for her!
ORIGINAL LISTING: We have a licker on our hands! Jora is so happy to be in a home again that she shows her affection and appreciation by lots of love licks. She was found as a stray and we pulled her from a shelter but she was obviously a pet at one time as she is spayed and microchipped. Jora is also housetrained. Nobody claimed her, however, and the chip was unregistered. Coming into rescue, Jora was flea ridden and had allergies. Her nails were so overgrown that it made it difficult to walk. She can’t have been out on her own for long, though, because this lady comes to us at 32 pounds, obviously hasn’t missed very many meals. Jora seems indifferent about other dogs but she loves playing tug, enjoys chewing on bones, hates carrots but likes apples. Jora is HW negative and we’ll updating you on how she settles in and her weight loss journey!
