11 year old ~ male ~ corgi mix – Adopted June 2019!!
UPDATE Feb 4: Luke is settling into his foster home. He does really well with kids but is a little grudging about sharing his space with his foster sister. He has, however, started to warm up and will even play with Lucy a little now. He has some interesting quirks – doesn’t like water and will jump over water puddles while on a walk rather than go through them. Luke is not crazy about his crate but will go into it when asked – which is only overnight and when his fosters are out of the house. We think Luke was an outdoor dog, or socialized very little but he’s learned not to mark and is so obviously enjoying being in the middle of all the ‘action’ that it’s fun to watch. Today, he was in the kitchen helping supervise a project with fur sister Lucy. 🙂
INTAKE: Luke “don’t call me Lucie” was a shelter pull. He definitely has a corgi head and coat but is long in the leg, so we’re not sure what he’s mixed with. His album starts out with photos of him taken by a shelter volunteer then shared with us. He’s been transported to a foster home but still needs to be fully vetted. One thing we know for sure is that Luke is likely to need considerable dental care – which we will provide. His transporters and his new foster say he is a sweetie, and we look forward to learning more about this boy! Luke would like to thank everyone that helped him along the way.
