2 years old ~ Male ~ Adopted
UPDATE JULY 16, 2020:
Atticus came to SECR as an owner surrender, and we’re pretty sure that from the moment he arrived he was intent on making his next home a lasting one. He worked his way into his foster Mom’s heart quickly with his quirky, fun-loving personality, and even his foster brother, Bodhi (who affectionately calls him “Brat Face”), decided Atticus was pretty great to have around. Why be derpy alone when you can have a partner in crime?!
We’re excited to announce today that Atticus has been officially adopted by his foster family! Here’s to a long and happy forever filled with all the Corgi magic you can muster!
UPDATE MARCH 31, 2020:
All the SECR Corgis certainly appreciate the extra time they’ve had with their humans at home lately, but the change in routine can certainly make all of us feel a little weird!
Here’s Atticus with his derpiest face on display, also perfect for #tongueouttuesday
UPDATE MARCH 20, 2020:
This is the face of a Corgo who just had his neuter surgery and doesn’t understand the need to “relax.”
Atticus is 2 days post-surgery and recovering well, so he’ll be back to his typical Corgi derp in no time! In the meantime, though, we can all admire his beautiful eyes as he gives us those pitiful “but why?” looks.
March 12, 2020: Please join us in welcoming Atticus to SECR! Atticus came to us following an owner surrender, and while we haven’t had him long he’s proving to be a good, happy boy who is settling in nicely to his new foster home. He’s enjoying life with his foster brother, Bodhi, and learning about life with the resident cat, Trixie. He’s not so sure yet why cats don’t play the same way dogs do! We’re getting Atticus up to date on his routine health care and he’ll be neutered next week. We’ll post more as we learn more about him!
