2 year old ~ Female ~ Adopted
UPDATE 4/7/2020:
Just before we had to temporarily suspend our adoptions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were lucky enough to send a few of our pups off to begin their trial adoptions in hopes that they’d be starting their new forevers just in the nick of time. Dahlia was one of these pups.
Today we are thrilled to announce that the trial adoption went even better than we could have imagined, and Dahlia officially has her forever family! This spunky, petite girl captured the hearts of her new Mom and Dad quickly, and formed one of the sweetest sibling bonds with her new big brother, Finnegan, that we’ve ever seen. (Check out this duo in the photos!)
We’re so glad we were able to make this perfect match, and wish the whole family the happiest forever.
Congratulations Dahlia, Finnegan, and Mom and Dad. You were all made for each other!
PREVIOUS UPDATES:
Meet Dahlia. This adorable and tiny two-year-old corgi was surrendered to a shelter when her owner moved out and the roommate decided that he didn’t want her. She is only about 13 pounds despite being two, so we’re getting her to a vet for a thorough medical evaluation. We are hoping that she is just tiny and under nourished. She shows no sign of illness and appears healthy, happy, active, and incredibly sweet. She initially showed some dog aggression at the shelter, but on retest was fine. She has been doing great with her foster brother since we have gotten her. He, however, is not thrilled at her attempts to play with him. More info to come.
