1.5 years old ~ Female ~ Corgi Mix ~Adopted

UPDATE 7/11/2020:

Holly joined SECR as a shelter rescue last year with her Mom, Iris, after their human passed away. She came into foster as a puppy and immediately bonded with her foster parents – always what we like to see when we match our pups with their new families! We were recently able to announce that Iris was adopted, and now we can happily say the same for Holly! She has been officially adopted by her fosters and now both Mom and daughter have wonderful forever homes!

Congratulations Holly and family! We wish you the happiest forever together!

It may be #wackywednesday, but there’s nothing wacky about Holly’s outfit. What you see here is just an example of fine Corgi style. We’re lucky to have pups like Holly setting the trends!

UPDATE 3/26/2020:

There’s a lot going on in the world right now, and we all have a lot of reasons to be stressed out. On days like these we’re thankful for Corgis like Holly, who remind us to take some time out to appreciate the simple things in life. Beautiful sunrises are some of these things.

Update Nov 29:  Little Holly is adjusting well to her new foster home! It’s only been 4 days but she’s really starting to come out of her shell a little bit more everyday. She really loved all the attention she got from family visiting. She’s really good on walks and is already making a lot of improvements in crate training even in this short time. She loves a belly rub and last night discovered her love of tennis balls!

Meet Holly:  Holly and her mom, Iris, were rescued from a shelter. Their mom had passed and they ended up there, sadly. One of our vets spotted the pair and immediately pulled them and contacted us for rescue. Holly is a cute 9 month old corgi mix puppy – her mom is a sable corgi. Dad didn’t leave his calling card so your guess is as good as ours on the other half of Holly’s parentage. 🙂
