Bader

3-year-old male, adopted by fosters

Update August 13, 2021: Congratulations, Bader!

Fridays are good for so many reasons and this one is a little extra special for Bader, who gets to celebrate his promotion from SECR foster to adoptee!

Bader joined us back in November after biting a young child and was in need of training and socialization. His foster parents and GSD foster sister, Carter, worked hard with Bader to get him on track to becoming the best corgi he could be. Getting Bader up to date on veterinary care and training and working on his anxiety issues was a team effort, and it’s no surprise that this team wants to stick together forever.

Congratulations, Bader and family. We’re all running zoomies for you today!

November, 2020: Welcome Bader to SECR!

It’s been a crazy year, but we still have a lot to be thankful for and this guy is certainly one of them. Please join us in welcoming our newest member of the SECR family, Bader!

Bader comes to us as an owner surrender because he bit a young child, so we’ll be working with him to ensure he gets the proper training and socialization he needs. The first order of business, though, is getting this boy up to speed on his veterinary care. He’ll be visiting our vet to get caught up on vaccines, a dental, and be neutered, as well as get his microchip. It’s quite a list, but we’re glad we have Bader with us and can get him where he needs to be.

Stay tuned for updates as we learn more about Bader and his Corgi ways!
