Female Corgi/Cattle Dog mix, 1 year old, adopted by fosters
April 12, 2021: Congratulations, Banksy
When Banksy came to SECR in August, she was a young pup in need of a lot of training and socialization, and a family that had the time and ability to provide her with both. We were lucky to find the perfect foster parents for Banksy who spent the better part of 8 months working with her on training (she graduated from a basic training course in November and has the diploma to prove it), and getting her comfortable around and eager to play with other dogs. She’s made so much progress so quickly that we can confidently say that this girl has mastered the art of being a corgi!
Banksy’s reward is a pretty amazing one – she’s officially graduating again, and this time from foster to adoptee! She and her family have decided to make it forever, and we couldn’t be happier to share the good news.
Congratulations, Bansky and family!
August 24, 2020: Welcome Banksy to SECR!
Please help us welcome the newest member of our growing SECR family, Banksy!
Banksy is a young Corgi-Cattle Dog mix and was surrendered to us because her previous owner wasn’t able to devote the time needed to train and socialize a young pup. Bansky needs to get up to date on her routine healthcare, vaccines, and a spay. She has some aggression toward other dogs so her fosters will be working diligently with her on training and socialization as well as help her get settled in to life with a devoted family!
We’ll share more updates about Banksy – and any Corgi art she may create – as we learn more about her.
