Asher

5-year-old corgi mix, adopted by foster

December 10, 2022: Congratulations Asher!

Christmas came a little early for Asher this year, who is celebrating his graduation from SECR foster to adoptee today!

This sweet little chorgi joined the SECR family back in October when his elderly owner was no longer in a position to be able to provide the care he needed. He came to us a bit down on his luck, but settled in to his new foster home quickly and developed a tight bond with his chihuahua foster sister, Felice. Tight bonds are ones you never want to break, and lucky for Asher – and us – we won’t have to! Asher has been officially adopted by his foster family and we couldn’t be happier that they’re sticking together forever.

Congratulations, Asher and family!

October 5, 2022: Welcome Asher!

Another day, another SECR newbie! Please help us welcome Asher.

Asher is a corgi mix that comes to us due to his elderly owner’s declining health. Situations like this are always so hard for everyone involved, but we’re glad we could step in to give Asher’s family assurance that their little corgi mix will be loved and well cared for in their time of need. We haven’t had Asher with us long, but already know that he is a sweet boy that loves to cuddle, appreciates the company of his foster sibling, and is eager to please his people.

Stay tuned for more updates about Asher. He is new to rescue and not available for adoption at this time.
