12 years old, adopted by foster
June 13, 2022: Congratulations, Bailey!
Adoptions call for dressing your best and celebrating – doesn’t Bailey look stunning in his fancy hat?!
This boy joined the SECR family almost a year ago after his original owner passed away and he was having difficulty adjusting to life with several younger dogs – and a house full of stairs – with his extended family. His foster family took Bailey in ready to help him address his arthritis and get on a healthy diet and exercise plan. He became a trimmer, healthier, and happier corgi and found his new forever in the process. Bailey has officially been adopted by his fosters and we look forward to hearing about all the fun that life brings in his golden years.
Congratulations, Bailey and family. We’re so happy we could bring you together!

June 28, 2021: Welcome Bailey to SECR!
If there’s anything we know, it’s that there’s always room for another corg! Say hello to another SECR newbie, Bailey!
Bailey comes to us following his Dad’s death. He spent some time staying with other family members, but due to their having young dogs and lots of stairs that give Bailey difficulty, they were all in agreement that it would be best for this senior gentlemen to come to SECR where he could have a more relaxing retirement. Bailey is a bit overweight and has some arthritis, so we’ll be keeping a close eye on him and making sure he gets on a good diet that will help him shed some pounds and hopefully make mobility a bit easier.
Welcome to the family, Bailey! We’re happy to have you with us.
