2 years old, adopted by foster
August 21, 2022: Congratulations Ivy!
We have one more adoption to announce this weekend! Please put your paws together for Ivy!
Ivy joined the SECR family last Fall after the passing of her original owners. She was a young pup in need of training and socialization but didn’t do well with the other female dog family members had in their home. So, Ivy came to us to get the care and attention a corgi needs to thrive. It turns out that she got all that and more, finding a new family that she couldn’t see living without. They agreed, and today we’re happy to share the good news that Ivy has officially been adopted by her fosters.
Congratulations Ivy and family! We wish you a long and frappy life together!

October 12, 2021: Welcome Ivy!
Say hello to our newest addition to the SECR family, Ivy!
Ivy is a 2-year-old female that joins us following the passing of her previous owner. She stayed for a short time with other family members but did not do well with their other female dog so coming into rescue was the best option for her. Ivy is a sweet girl but was not well socialized due to her owner’s critical medical issues so we’ll be working with her on training and socialization. Ivy has also struggled with weight in the past so we’ll make sure she stays on a good diet and exercise plan. We look forward to helping her become the best corgi she can be!
Welcome to the family, Ivy!
