Young female, adopted by fosters

November 16, 2022: Welcome and Congratulations, Lilibet!

Please join us in welcoming – and congratulating – Lilibet!

This sweet young girl joined the SECR family early this Fall in need of routine veterinary care and follow-up treatment for previous allergies, along with basic training and socialization to get on the right path to a good corgi life. We placed Lilibet in a foster-to-adopt home, and she quickly thrived. Over the last few months she’s gotten caught up on vet care, vaccines and preventatives, and a spay. She also got to work on training, discovering that walks and playtime with other dogs – namely, the golden doodles she calls her best friends – are two of her favorite things. But, even better? The bond she has with her new forever family.

We’re excited to announce today that Lilibet has graduated from SECR foster to adoptee. She may not be a queen (officially, at least), but she’s named after one and we’re certain she’ll be getting the royal treatment she deserves from here on out.

Congratulations, Lilibet and family. We’re so happy we could bring you together!
