3 years old, adopted by foster
Sept. 29, 2022: Congratulations, Lilo!
Please put your paws together for our girl Lilo, who officially graduates from SECR foster to adoptee today!
Lilo joined the SECR family in June after her Dad’s passing, and didn’t do well in a family home with other dogs. We placed her in a foster home where she could be the queen of her castle as the only dog and gave her all the tools she needed to thrive. She got caught up on routine health care and a spay, and now has a sparkly fresh smile thanks to her dental. When Lilo arrived in rescue she struggled with some anxiety, but she’s settled since having the assurance that she’s with the perfect-for-her family that gives her everything she needs to be a happy corgi.
Lilo has been adopted by her fosters, and we’re glad we could bring them together. Congratulations, Lilo!

June 1, 2022: Welcome Lilo!
Another day, another corgi! Please join us in welcoming our newest newbie to SECR, Lilo!
Lilo joins us as an owner surrender. Her Dad passed away late last year and relatives have since tried to integrate her into their family, but Lilo has had difficulty adjusting to life with the many other dogs in the household. She’ll be in an only dog foster home with us so that she can get the training and socialization she needs in an environment where she is comfortable and can thrive. We’ll also be getting Lilo up to date on routine healthcare when she visits our vet soon.
Welcome to the family, Lilo! We’re happy you’re here!
