~5-year-old corgi mix, adopted by fosters
April 7, 2022: Congratulations, Loki!
Another day, another milestone for Loki. Today he’s gone from foster to adoptee!
When Loki joined the SECR family back in November he came to us as a stray in need of basic health care, vaccines, a neuter, and an evaluation for a previous jaw injury. We placed him with fosters that got him on track with all the care he needs and worked diligently with him on training and socialization. Loki also got an added bonus of a feisty younger corgi foster sister, Ayla, to show him the ropes of life with a devoted family. They bonded in no time and decided that it was a bond that couldn’t, and shouldn’t be broken. Loki has been officially adopted by his foster family, and we couldn’t be happier for them all. Congratulations, Loki! Wishing you and your sister have a long and happy forever together!

November 8, 2021: Welcome Loki!
One more newbie joined the SECR family over the weekend, and we’re so excited to introduce him to you today. Please help us welcome Loki!
Loki is a 5-year-old corgi mix that joins us after being found as a stray. His finder took him in and got him caught up on basic veterinary care, vaccines, and a neuter, but after discovering he has some more extensive heath issues she knew rescue would be the best way to get this boy the experienced care he needs. Loki has severe dental concerns – a fractured jaw and broken teeth from an injury prior to when he was found. We’ll be scheduling a dental exam to determine the extent of damage and make arrangements for any necessary surgical procedures. In the meantime, we are happy to report that Loki is settling in well to his new foster home and getting to know his new corgi foster sister, Ayla.
Welcome to the family, Loki!
