Phoebe

~4-years old, adopted by fosters

August 16, 2022: Congratulations, Phoebe!

Some say it’s Tuesday, but we say, it’s Phoebe Day! Please put your paws together to celebrate our girl as she graduates from foster to adoptee.

Phoebe joined the SECR family in the Spring of 2021 as a shelter pull, and ever since she and her fosters have been hard at work to help her become her best corgi mix self. In addition to working on personal fitness and finally achieving a slimmer, trimmer, and healthier weight, Phoebe has also made strides in training and socialization. She’s had several sessions with a trainer to get through issues with fear and anxiety, learning how to trust people and share her space with others, and is ready for her forever home. It turns out that the people she wants to share with most are the ones she already lives with, and the feeling is mutual. Phoebe has officially been adopted by her fosters and we’re so glad we could bring them together!

Congratulations, Phoebe and family!

May 30, 2021: Welcome Phoebe to SECR!

Long weekends mean more time for rescue, and we weren’t going to let this one go by without one! Please help us welcome Phoebe!

Phoebe joins us as a shelter pull after she was surrendered to animal control. She is settling in to her foster home nicely, getting used to new surroundings and people. We’ll be working with Phoebe to make sure she gets the training and socialization she needs. She is also slightly overweight, so we’ll be monitoring her diet to make sure she stays fit and healthy.

Stay tuned for more updates on Phoebe as we learn more about her!
