3 years old, adopted by foster

February 20, 2023: Congratulations, Dharma!

Please join us in celebrating our girl Dharma, who has graduated from SECR foster to adoptee!

Dharma came into rescue back in September and we got her in to see our vet quickly so she could get caught up on routine health care and vaccines. In the process we also discovered that Dharma was heartworm positive. Lucky for her the disease was in its early stages of development so catching it quickly allowed us to get the treatment she needed so she could resume life as a happy and healthy corgi – and boy did she ever!

Dharma is healthy now and taking regular prevention for heartworm, fleas and ticks, and she’s learning more every day about the important things in life from her corgi siblings. She enjoys romps and rolls in the grass, snuggles with her humans, and making herself useful by going to work with her Mom most days (and doing all the supervising corgis love to do). This is all the beginning of a beautiful new forever for Dharma because the siblings and humans she has come to love are now officially hers forever. Dharma has been adopted by her fosters!

September 10, 2022: Welcome Dharma!

Introducing our newest addition to the family, Dharma!

Dharma joins us as an owner surrender. Her previous family is moving and doesn’t have the time or ability to provide her with the care she needs, so we’re happy to step in! This cutie is currently settling in to her new foster home and learning about life from her older and wiser corgi foster siblings. A vet appointment is also in Dharma’s near future as she needs to get caught up on all her vaccines and heartworm testing, as well as get on monthly prevention for heartworm, fleas, and ticks.

We haven’t known Dharma long, but she’s already told us how much she enjoys the simple things in life – a good bath, a roll in the grass, and lot of love and attention from her new people.
