October 23, 2023: Congratulations, Izzy!
Another day, another adoption! Today we celebrate Izzy, who can finally share the news that she has a forever home.
Izzy came to SECR more than a year ago as a former breeding Mom in search of a better, calmer life. She had work in front of her to get caught up on medical care, learn to trust, and find her place in a family. We’re so excited to share that, after an extended trial adoption, Izzy has found her groove. She has two new parents, a corgi brother, and is thriving!

May 9, 2023: Izzy is looking for her forever home!
Are all the adorable pictures of our girl Izzy making you dizzy? Well, get ready to see more because she’s officially looking for her forever family!
Izzy is a sweet former breeding Mom that’s looking for a family she can trust and bond with. She needs someone who is willing to work with her at her pace and tackle anxiety, is home a lot to spend the quality time with her that she needs, has no young children in the home, and can truly consider her a central part of the family. She would do well with another young dog her size or smaller to play with and learn from and is ok with dog-friendly cats.

July 5, 2022: Welcome Izzy!
This weekend was definitely one to celebrate… the arrival of one of our newest newbies! Say hello to Izzy.
Izzy is a former breeding dog that had recently gone to her retirement home, but unfortunately things didn’t work out well due to there being unaltered males in the home. Izzy came to us so she can have a calmer, stress-free retirement. She’s a friendly, well-socialized girl who soaks up every ounce of attention she gets, and we’re so happy we could step in to help her. Izzy is currently in heat but there’s a spay in her near future once she gets through her cycle and settles in.
