October 22, 2023: Congratulations, Joya!

We’re putting our paws in the air for sweet Joya today, as she has some wonderful news to share – she’s found her forever home!

Joya had been in foster with us for a long time waiting to find the perfect-for-her family, and we’re so excited to share that she’s finally found it. She just completed a successful trial adoption and found a permanent place with new canine and feline siblings, along with a Mom and Dad who haven’t wasted a second in spoiling her the way she deserves.

Congratulations, Joya. We couldn’t be happier for you, and wish you many happy years with your new family!

March 15, 2022: Welcome Joya!

Introducing the new girl, Joya!

Joya is a roughly 2-year-old cardigan mix that we pulled from the shelter where she wound up as a stray. She’s just been spayed and brought up to date on routine health care and vaccines and is currently adjusting to life in her new foster home with her foster brother, SECR alum Ronin, and foster sister, Astrid.

Joya’s foster Mom reports she’s a high-energy pup that appreciates playtime, but also loves to cuddle and is on her way to becoming a “lap dog.” We’ll share more about Joya as she becomes more acclimated to family life and tells us more about herself.
