Momo

1 year old, adopted by foster

July 12, 2023: Congratulations, Momo!

We interrupt your regular scheduled programming to ask you to take a minute to help us celebrate Momo’s good news: he’s been adopted!

Momo joined the SECR family as an owner surrender because he had difficulty sharing his home with another dog in the household. He joined a foster family without other pets and quickly thrived. He got caught up on vet care, started working on training and socialization, and took his rightful place as the king of his castle! That castle is one in which he’ll stay because he’s officially been adopted by his foster parents!

Momo is a young boy with a lot of puppy left in him, but we’re so happy he’s with the right family that will continue to work with him and encourage him to gear all his energy in the right direction.

Congratulations, Momo!

June 8, 2023: Welcome, Momo!

Another day, another rescue. Say hello to our newest newbie, Momo!

Momo is a young boy that comes to us as an owner surrender because he was having difficulty co-existing with another dog in his household. To thrive he needs to be the only dog in his home and we are happy to be able to provide that for him so he can get on the path to a good corgi life.

We’ll be getting Momo caught up on some veterinary care and working with him diligently on training and socialization. As a young corgi he has a lot of energy and hasn’t yet learned how to direct it all in a positive direction. But, Momo is happy, playful, and eager to please and we look forward to sharing updates on his progress soon.

Welcome to SECR, Momo!

*Momo is new to rescue and not yet available for adoption.
