September 24, 2024: Adopt Howie!

**All applicants must be 21 or older and live within the Carolinas or Georgia. Submitting an adoption application is the first step in the process to adopt ANY SECR rescue dog. SECR’s primary commitment is to the rescue dogs in our care, and it is our mission to find the right home for every dog, not the right dog for every home. Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis to find the best fit for each available rescue dog, and our admin team will follow up with qualified applicants after applications are fully processed.

Please join us in welcoming Howie to the SECR family!
Howie is a young corgi / aussie mix that comes to us as an owner surrender due to difficulty with young children in the household. He’s currently settling in to a childfree foster home, where he’s getting a very slow introduction to sharing space with his new corgi foster sibling and beginning to work on the basics of socialization and training.
Howie is new to rescue and not yet available for adoption.
