**All applicants must be 21 or older and live within the Carolinas or Georgia. Submitting an adoption application is the first step in the process to adopt ANY SECR rescue dog. SECR’s primary commitment is to the rescue dogs in our care, and it is our mission to find the right home for every dog, not the right dog for every home. Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis to find the best fit for each available rescue dog, and our admin team will follow up with qualified applicants after applications are fully processed.
November 7, 2023: Welcome, Lulu!
SECR is happy to announce one of our newest arrivals in rescue since our recent re-opening. Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Lulu!
Lulu is a sweet adult that came to us just over a week ago, and getting her up to speed on medical care was our priority. It had been a long time since Lulu had seen a vet, so we’re relieved that we’ve checked a visit off her to-do list. She’s officially up to date on vaccines and heartworm testing and, thankfully, heartworm negative. She’ll be started on regular monthly prevention and has a spay and dental in her near future, but in the meantime we look forward to getting her settled in her new foster home.
Welcome to the SECR family, Lulu! We’re glad to have you with us and look forward to getting you on the road to the good corgi life.
