**All applicants must be 21 or older and live within the Carolinas or Georgia. Submitting an adoption application is the first step in the process to adopt ANY SECR rescue dog. SECR’s primary commitment is to the rescue dogs in our care, and it is our mission to find the right home for every dog, not the right dogs for every home. Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis to find the best fit for each available rescue dog, and our admin team will follow up with qualified applicants after applications are fully processed.

We have a new hobbit (ahem, corgi) in the house! Say hello to our very own Mr. Frodo!
Mr. Frodo comes to SECR in need of some catch up on routine healthcare and treatment for ongoing allergies, as well as some help with socialization. He’s an active boy that needs coaching to direct his energy in a positive way and some support in building confidence when interacting with other dogs. We’re glad to have this cutie with us and look forward to giving him all the support he needs to be the best boy he can be.
