**All applicants must be 21 or older and live within the Carolinas or Georgia. Submitting an adoption application is the first step in the process to adopt ANY SECR rescue dog. SECR’s primary commitment is to the rescue dogs in our care, and it is our mission to find the right home for every dog, not the right dog for every home. Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis to find the best fit for each available rescue dog, and our admin team will follow up with qualified applicants after applications are fully processed.

This Thanksgiving we’re thankful for new arrivals! Say hello to our newest newbie, Otto.
This sweet boy joined the SECR family so he could be in a childfree household, and we’re so happy we could provide him with that and a bonus corgi foster brother! Otto just visited our vet today to get treatment for allergies and there’s a dental in his near future, but in the meantime he’s ready for turkey!
