**All applicants must be 21 or older and live within the Carolinas or Georgia. Submitting an adoption application is the first step in the process to adopt ANY SECR rescue dog. SECR’s primary commitment is to the rescue dogs in our care, and it is our mission to find the right home for every dog, not the right dog for every home.

Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis to find the best fit for each available rescue dog, and our admin team will follow up with qualified applicants after applications are fully processed.

November 29, 2024: Welcome, Frannie!

Another day, another newbie for which we’re thankful! Say hello to Frannie.

Frannie joins us as a recent shelter pull, and is slowly getting used to her creature comforts in her new foster home. She just saw our vet to get caught up on routine vaccines but will likely be headed back soon for treatment for suspected kennel cough. So, for now, intoductions to her new foster siblings are on hold until she can get the medication she needs to recover. Stay tuned for more updates when we have them.
