Female ~ 15-year-old ~ Corgi/Aussie mix ~ Rainbow Bridge
Update 1/22: Bella went to the emergency vet suffering from renal failure in addition to congestive heart failure. The vet felt that there was nothing that could be done to save her. Her foster mom went to be with her, and we sent her peacefully to the bridge. We are sorry that we were unable to help her but her issues were just too severe. She was neglected for over eight years. But she knew love in the end. We are so grateful to her foster mom, who knew that her time would be short. This is how we like to remember Bella, resting in the sun at her foster home. We love you Bella. Until we meet again.
Meet Bella of the beautiful blue eyes. She came to rescue because her former owner could no longer take care of her and she joined SECR in Jan. 2020 as a forever foster.

Personality & Behaviors: Sweet, laid back, low energy.
Medical: She will be visiting the vet next week so we can give her the best care possible for high cholesterol, hypothyroidism, and a possible heart condition. She’s also currently very overweight so her foster Mom will be putting her on a healthy diet and developing a good exercise plan that’s fit for a dog in Bella’s condition.
Overall: We are looking forward to learning more about her.
