Summer is in full swing and so is the four pawed corgi invasion with a steady stream of new pups coming into rescue. It will take a bit of time to evaluate everyone and make sure they get the medical care, training, and socialization needed to make them adoption ready. Sadly, we say goodbye …
Among all the celebrating we have the sadness of one of our forever fosters passing over the rainbow bridge. Summer was a ray of sunshine and a beautiful reminder of the why we rescue – not just to find a dog a home, but to help them achieve their best life. Summer came to us as a neglected senior with many serious health issues. But for a year and a half she shined bright under the loving care of her foster family and warmed the hearts of all with her determination to enjoy every minute of her life as a part of our rescue family. Summer, you will continue to inspire us and forever live on in hearts.
