Craig is a lowrider who loves pillows, sunbathing, carrying small toys, supervising yard work, monitoring the kitchen floor, warming up yoga mats, pre-washing spoons for the dishwasher, and making sure everyone gets to bed on time so he can collect his evening Greenie.

He dislikes midsize SUVs parked in the street

He enjoys being out of the crate during the days and sleeps through the night in his crate.

He is a good boy with a big heart, a few quirks, and a lot of love for the right person.

He is generally low maintenance and has moderate energy. He enjoys short walks, quick play sessions, belly rubs for as long as your arm can survive, and lounging on pillows.

He is also a classic herding dog with opinions. Craig needs an adult-only, only-pet home with someone experienced with herding breeds and comfortable following his foster’s recommendations. He would do best with calm adults who respect his boundaries, keep life predictable, and understand that some dogs come with a playbook.

Craig has improved on walks, especially when treats help him stay focused around people and dogs. He loves adult visitors, especially men, and his dream home may be with a retired gentleman or calm adult couple who appreciate a loyal sidekick with excellent household supervisory skills. While he needs to live in an only dog home, he has managed to get along with some dogs in short stints.
