5 years old, adopted by foster

July 29, 2022: Congratulations, Gus!

We love when we can kick off a weekend with an adoption, and today we’re celebrating our boy Gus!

Gus joined the SECR family back in February when his previous owner was experiencing some life changes and needed him to be with a new family without other dogs in the household. We were happy to step in to provide the help Gus needed, and have loved watching him blossom in his foster home over the last several months. He bonded with his foster Mom quickly, and we’re happy to announce today that foster Mom has become his Forever Mom! Gus has been officially adopted by his foster.

Congratulations, Gus! We wish you the happiest life filled with lots of zoomies and look forward to hearing about all your adventures.

February 26, 2022: Welcome Gus!

Please help us give a warm corgi welcome to our newest newbie, Gus!

Gus joins the SECR family as an owner surrender. His Mom recently experienced a life change moving in with family that has other dogs and brought him to us knowing that Gus does not do well with other dogs in the home. These decisions are never easy, but we’re glad we were able to step in and place Gus in a foster home where he could comfortably be the king of his castle as the only dog.

Gus just arrived so we’re still learning more about him, but we look forward to working with him on training and socialization and helping him be the best, most confident corgi he can be. Welcome to the family, Gus!
