Without the support of our Southeast Corgi Rescue community, we could not do what we do as a rescue. Unfortunately, we seldom get the opportunity to hang out together since SECR covers a three state area — NC, SC, & GA.
Which is why we love the Annual PPWCC Corgilina Picnic. It is one of our favorite ways to reconnect with Palmetto Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club members, meet other dog lovers, and have face time with SECR fosters, alumni, and their humans. It is also one of our favorite fund raising events. And 2019 was no exception.
This year we had all the fun and raised over $1200 in much needed funds to help with our many foster dogs currently undergoing medical treatment and training.
So, with heartfelt appreciation to:
- Palmetto Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club for hosting the Corgilina Picnic and providing matching auction funds
- All who made or donated items.
- All who donated cash.
- All who bought SECR merchandise and/or bid on silent auction items.
- All who help organize and worked the picnic and silent auction.
- All who ran or participated in the games.
- All who came out to show their support.
