#GivingTuesday is an international day of charitable giving that takes place on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. This year it falls on December 3rd 2019. The purpose of this charitable event is to invite everyone, everywhere to celebrate the holiday season by giving back to the organizations they love and want to support.
And this year the timing of #GivingTuesday couldn’t have been any better for Southeast Corgi Rescue.
SECR has been caught in a rainy season of corgis. For the last few months its been raining corgis and more corgis. So much so, we are now flooded with a record 46 corgis in rescue. Fourteen alone in one day via Operation Corgi Drop. Our foster homes runneth over with corgis.
As an all volunteer, non-profit rescue organization based in NC, SC, and GA, Southeast Corgi Rescue relies on donations to help pay for all necessary veterinary care, including (but not limited to) initial check-ups, spay and neuter, vaccinations, microchips and dental care, as well as any socialization or training needed for each dog before it can start its best life in a forever home.
