In November of 2019, Operation Corgi Drop brought 14 puppy mill rescues into the Southeast Cogri Rescue fold. (Remember — Hazel, Ein, Merlot, Stewart, Maxwell, Sheridan, Bean, Brewster, Edward, Junie B, Margot, Kopi, & Peet?) It was a crazy all hands on deck moment for SECR volunteers.
Now, nearly 2 years later, we have Operation Corgi Drop 2.0 with 7 more puppy mill rescues coming into the SECR fold just as we’ve been flooded with owner surrenders. As always, we couldn’t do what we do for the dogs without the help of our amazing supporters and volunteers — especially the many fosters who have stepped forward in recent months (We could still use more.
