Forever Fosters, SECR Alumni

In Loving Memory of Lord Zipper

We know with our Forever Fosters that due to their health and age we will have too little time with them before they pass on to the Rainbow Bridge.  Lord Zipper came to us after the sudden death of his parents.  He was overweight with kidney and liver disease. Through the ups and downs of his health issues over the last few months, he still enjoyed life and was happy to be with his SECR forever fosters.

A few days ago Lord Zipper health took a sad turn and he joined Southeast Corgi Rescue’s Kody, Remy, Roscoe, and Tucker who also went to the Rainbow Bridge during 2019.

While it always breaks our hearts lose one of our dogs, we are heartened to know Lord Zipper was reunited with his beloved deceased parents.

In honoring the memory of Lord Zipper, we wanted to share a video of him from earlier this year.  For Lord Zipper, half the fun and exercise of playing ball was in talking back to his motion activated squeaky ball!

Rest in Peace, Lord Zipper.
